The network AceShells is based on is constructed of Multiple
1000 Mbps fibre connections to many providers and peering
points as detailed below. It consists of only the best
equipment for the entire network. This includes Juniper
M5 routers with Gigabit fibre connections and i-Series
Extreme 6808 black diamond switches with multiple Fibre
connections and Fast Ethernet connections. Our network
also supports OC-12 622 Mbit technology on all the core
switches. Our network is protected against DDoS we have
DDoS protection and mitigation through a Filtering system
using Webscreen boxes, please see http://www.webscreen-technology.com
for more details on webscreen.
Dual separated phase power supplies and UPS systems power
the Core of the network. All the equipment is fully redundant
or we have multiple of an item configured in a redundant
mode to ensure that on failure of any equipment there
will be little or no outage caused or service degradation
to our clients
Our network peers openly with as many other networks
as possible, this creates direct traffic flow between
our network and destination network. This clearly creates
an optimum path to destination ISP's and this results
in maximum speed and lowest latencies, while adding the
ultimate reliability.
Currently our network peers with over 220 other ISP's
around Europe and in America (New York).
Our network operates on BGP4 systems
with internal OSPF links.
Our main Global Upstreams are from the following
